Peyton Elizabeth Lee, 16, the American actress recently cast as the lead in Disney's reboot of the Doogie Howser series, takes over from Neil Patrick Harris, who played Doogie from 1989 to 1993.

The new gender flipped dramedy from How I Met Your Mother writer Kourtney Kang, is currently filming and set for a 2022 release. The New Yorker, who also does voiceovers and her own stunts, has been acting from the age of ten, appearing in TV shows Andi Mack, Shameless and Scandal.
